What we collect

Newsletter sign-ups: your email address, when you signed up, confirmed or unsubscribed, the page you signed up from, and a one-way hashed form of your IP address used only to prevent abuse.
Reading statistics: we count page views and whether an article was read to the end, together with the page, the referring website and the device type (mobile, tablet or desktop). We do not use cookies or store IP addresses for this. To count unique visitors, a code is derived from your IP address and browser that changes every day, so your visits cannot be linked from one day to the next. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, nothing is counted.

How we use it
